Size guide
Different sizes of stirrups allow boots of different sizes to have the needed space between the body of the stirrup and the boot to make the necessary movement to free themselves from the stirrup in case of need.
If a stirrup is too small for the size of the boot worn, it can become an obstacle when the foot tries to come out of the opening, as it could get stuck inside the stirrup itself.
Likewise, if the stirrup is too large, there is a risk of the foot slipping forward and getting stuck with the entire ankle inside the body of the stirrup.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE STIRRUPS
We recommend placing the ball of your foot on the grip as in the photo below. The stirrup is the correct size if the distance between the top of the boot and the inside of the top of the stirrup is about 5-6 cm (1.96-2.36 in). |
We recommend comparing these measurements to the rider’s boot. The stirrup is the correct size if its inside is approximately 0.5mm-1cm (0.019-0.39in) per side away from the sole of the boot. |
